Journey Nepal appreciates donations to help us provide services. We have many programs and encourage you to donate to a specific program where 100% of your money will go. We are very concerned that our projects are sustainable in the long term and not relying on charity, but the start up phase often requires significant input before the project can support itself.
Our projects include: school rebuilding program in rural Nepal replacing classrooms that were destroyed by the earthquakes of 2015; sponsorship for women and girls to help them further their education; a nurse/health teacher in rural school to care for the children during school hours and also to teach them health and hygiene.
Sponsorship
We also help people to connect with individuals in Nepal so they can sponsor a child’s education or medical treatment. If you would like to sponsor a child – their school fees are usually around US$20 per month. We collect the money and take it directly to the school and give you an official receipt from the school and photos of the child.
