Shreeram Adhikari
Nepal Country Director
Shree was born in a very remote village at the foot of Ganesh Himal mountain and came to Kathmandu at age 16 to finish secondary school. He then attended Tribhuvan University to study humanities and social science and during that time he worked in hospitality, where he met James and Anne Digby in 2004. He also started working as a porter and is now a very successful, licensed trekking guide in Nepal, India, Tibet and Switzerland.
He is a tireless advocate and very passionate about helping his fellow countrymen and women. He was one of the first responders into the remote area of Dhading immediately following the earthquake and delivered over 37 tons of rice to badly hit villagers.

All my life I have loved being involved helping others less fortunate and seeing smiles on people’s faces. In return it gives me immeasurable joy.
In 2015 I wish to pursue more of this passion and help many more who are so grateful. I first travelled to Nepal with Anne in 2013 and have fallen in love with the land and people. A Truly magic place.
